Sickness, Sickness stay away, turn around and go the other way!!
The icky monster is knocking on our door and I am not answering it!!! I hope that he/she will move along gracefully and not bother us!
It seems like everyone you talk to is sick or knows someone that is sick. I am really tired of this winter and pray that we miss this influenza junk. I am keeping my fingers and toes crossed!

Our weekend was good, we didn't do to much. Friday night we vegged and didn't do much. Saturday Craig worked on the house a little bit and Micah and I hung out. That afternoon we packed up and went to SF. We stopped at Lowe's and purchased a new light fixture for our dining room! It is much needed, I sure hope it looks ok! After Lowe's we headed over to Applebee's for supper with my family. It was a nice supper, Micah didn't behave himself very well, but what do you do? Kids will be kids right! He was whining the entire time! That is not like him, so we weren't sure what was going on. I think it must have been his teeth, he is getting his eye teeth and they are being a bugger! We decided to head to Lewis and get some Tylenol for him before we went to the Skyforce game. It did the trick, he was a totally different kid after he took that medicine! The game was ok, it was a nice opportunity to get together with my family, we don't do that very often. Micah had fun tracking the movements of the mascot "Thunder" the wolf, who he referred to as "Bear", Famous Dave's also had a mascot, "The PIG"! We went up and gave Thunder a high five, but Micah was pretty unsure of this, he almost freaked out but he managed to keep his composure! He must have thought he looked pretty scary in person! After a while the "pig" came to our area so I took Micah over to give him high five and that was much cooler! As we were walking away and when we sat back down, Micah was yelling, "HI PIG, BYE PIG, HI PIG!!!" It was pretty funny!
I think the best part of the game was the "Bucket Boys!" They play drums on 5 gallon buckets. They were awesome!!! I couldn't believe that they really had buckets, it was amazing! Of course I had to take a video so you could see proof!! I will post that a little later.

Here are a few other pictures of the night!

Sunday was a day of busy work! Craig was working on the house again and I was in the kitchen! First I threw in a roast for supper. It was time for some good ole meat and taters!! Then I decided to make homemade spaghetti sauce and freeze it beings we only had 2 containers left from my last batch. As I was making that, I noticed the chex cereal on top of the fridge. I thought, Hummmmmmmm, puppy chow sounds good! So, I decided to make that too!! I have also been meaning to whip up a batch of cookie dough and throw that in the freezer so I had it ready to go. Yep, I did that too! I recently purchased this neat little vacuum sealer made by Reynolds - you buy it with the zip lock bags for it! IT works awesome!! I put the cookie dough balls in there / making sure they were spaced quite aways away from one another (Tested that the first time they were to close and I ended up with 1 big ball of dough after I sealed it!) Then I vacuum sealed it and presto, perfect for a freezer! They I can grab one bag (6 cookies) and throw them in the oven - we can have fresh cookies when ever we want! Yeah, Yeah, days like this don't come along very often so I have to take advantage of the mood!!

That was our weekend! Fun Fun stuff I tell ya! I hope you all have a great week and everyone stays or gets healthy soon!!!

I think the kids really enjoyed the game well at least parts of it. Micah was not that bad! When your one and a half the crabbies happen occassionally. Cam was not an angel either! It was nice that all of us got to get together!

Where did you get the reynolds bag thing? I have been thinking about getting something like that.

You were a busy woman this weekend. Sounds like fun though.

I got the reynolds thing at Walmart. It was by the ziplock bags.
