We are back to the old grind after a long weekend! It sure was nice having an extra day home this weekend. I think Micah is ready to go back to daycare after having to put up with his boring parents for an extra day!
We did manage to stay busy this weekend. Saturday afternoon we had a birthday party to attend for our friend Chase. He turned 2! It was nice to visit with everyone, we don't get to do that often enough. Saturday night we decided to go to the races. Micah did pretty well, he definitely was more antsy, but as long as we kept treats at his disposal he was fine.
Sunday, well that turned into a cleaning day. I tore into our office and boy did it need it! It took me all day to get it organized. It was one of those rooms I didn't realize was so bad. It had turned into a dump zone and gosh, it was out of control! Glad it is clean and we can see our desks again. We were going to go to the races in Brandon @ Husets that evening, but decided against it. We weren't in the mood after cleaning, so we just vegged.
Monday, Micah and mom made cookies!! He was such a big help sucking the dough off the beaters!! He kept saying, "more, more". It was very cute! He didn't quite figure out how to stick his tongue out and lick the beater, he would just suck on it. We will have to work on that! LOL.
He also learned the word "HOT". That would be when he went to touch the oven door when I was putting in more cookies! He was saved, but he wasn't very happy about the stiff arm he got from mom! He definitely approved of the cookies, he was very persistent in wanting more of those!! He was limited to a few bites, but he definitely turned into the cookie monster after his first tasting!!

I made choc chip cookies on monday too...except i didn't have anyone around to lick my beaters...so i had to do it!!!!! lol!
Sounds like you guys had an eventful weekend! What to come over and clean my house too..he he :)! I'll have to do a major cleaning this coming weekend I think..fun fun!

Hey Micah hang around with Grandpa and he'll teach ya how to lick on those beaters, but first you have to tell Grandpa to share one with you....
