First things first, Congrats to my nephew/brother John and his girl friend Tonia! They finally joined the dark side and became engaged this last weekend. The wedding will occur this coming summer and I couldn't be happier for them. They are one of those couples that simply glow! We are very lucky to have Tonia as an addition to our family! Way to go John, you are the man!
In other news, my grandfather had surgery on Monday to repair his stomach. The surgery went well which was a blessing in itself. He is having a tough recovery due to all the medicine and is stubborn streak, but we are very thankful the surgery went well. Hopefully he will be on the mend and home soon.
Micah is changing more and more everyday. He has recently become our little parrot! He tries to say certain words and it is too cute!! Tuesday night his word of the day was Taco. He has also started to say Elijah! Yes, Elijah! It comes out more like eeeyiiihaaa, but he definately gets an A for effort! I am sure most people don't believe us as he gets a serious case of stage fright when we ask him to perform, but it is true he is learning to speak more and more! It is fun to witness and see how he is ever changing. He has been a little off still. I think it is still his teeth, but who knows, he could have a bug too.

Sounds like Micah is really starting to talk! The pictures of him you posted are really CUTE! Looks like he's somewhat ready for winter (sorry to type that word on here..he he)!

It's so fun when they start to talk. You do have to watch every single word you say though. Jack just started saying bye-bye. It was a HUGE deal to me. So much fun!
FUN! I love it when little ones start talking. Sometimes I am not sure what they are saying but it's cute nonetheless.
