Poor Micah, having to get shots. That's not fun at all! I wanted to let you know that there is a blood test that they can do for food allergies at the clinic. My daughter had to have it done when she was 13 months old because we thought she was allergic to milk. (She's not thankfully!) Anyway, it's an option to consider versus the allergy specialist if he keeps having trouble, and it's only one poke instead of a whole series. Then if they find something, you can go to a specialist if you think you need to follow up on it.
In my opinion you did the right thing with the chicken pox vaccine too. I'm not 100% sure, but I think it's a requirement now in SD for Kindergarten. So he would have probably had to have it sooner or later.
Hopefully you are having a good weekend, and Micah's shots did affect him too much!
