Today after work, I was able to take Micah out to our friend, Sonny's and let them see their horses. He was definately curious about these animals, but unsure just the same. We were there just a little while and Taylor wanted me to put Micah on the horse with her. I thought, I don't know..... He might get scared....Then, what the heck, let's see what happens!

Micah was not impressed to be sitting on the horse!! He would calm down and then the Cheyenne (the horse) would move and he would get upset again. I didn't keep him up there long, he was to scared. He did calm down a little as we talked to him so that was a good sign.
The horse made a horse noise and Micah about jumped out of my arms!! It was funny. He just stared at her and him (Jake) the other horse! He couldn't figure out what the heck noise that was! He was really good about petting the horses, real gentle which I was very pleased to see. I want to teach him how to be good to animals, I feel that is important. He was really curious about their nostrils! I think because they blowing warm air on his hands, but it was pretty funny to watch! All in all I think he enjoyed seeing them and I hope to get a break sometime so I can go ride with them!! We have been trying all summer to go out and ride, but just hasn't worked out! Hopefully sometime soon!

Oh, I love horses. It has been so long since I have been on one. I bet Micah will get better in time. Especially if he sees mom on one.

Cute pictures! Glad to hear he wasn't too scared of the horses :)! Sounds like Micah was really gentle with petting them. I bet he was checkin' out those nostrils...they are so big on horses you can't help but check them out..he he :)!!!

Horses are such beautiful animals. I am glad you got the opportunity to have Micah ride one!!
I love horses, too, but I'm not a fan of riding them! I get scared, too, Micah! :)

Wow, sounds like you have had a busy last couple of weeks or more!! And lots of news....engagements and babies, does it get any better??? Cute pictures on the horse, that Micah is a cutie!! He will be a heartbreaker before you know it! My boys were never scared of sitting on horses, but Siri freaked out this summer a bit when I sat her on a horse. She did the same where she was OK if it didn't move, but then it would shift a little or something and she was DONE! It was a little funny! I hope you are having a good week, it's almost Friday!
I like horses to...but I also give them "their" space...they are bigger than I am and have BIG teeth!!...love animals...Micah probably would like a toy rocking horse better...
