Our volleyball season is officially over for another year. For those of you that don't know, this was a women's league. We had 8 teams in our division this year, which was a good number. We had a really competative league this year which was really nice. Last night we had the final night of tourney and what a long night it was. We started playing at 6:45 PM and didn't get finished until around 10:30 PM! We ended up playing 4 teams and of course these games were all back to back! I am WAY to old to be doing that stuff! By the time we got the the championship game, our legs and arms were jello. We would have had to beat that team twice as they were undefeated. Although we gave them a run by winning the first match that was all she wrote, we lost the next two and it was over. We ended up getting 2nd which we were happy with. Of course you always want to win, but 2nd is nothing to hang our heads about. We played well and had a lot of fun which was great!! I am sad to see it be over for the year but as sore as I am today sure makes me realize how "OLD" I am getting and I seriously need to get into shape!

Sounds like a lot of fun! Way to go on 2nd place...you guys should be very proud of yourselves :)!!!
2nd place is not bad at all! I can't imagine playing 4 games in a row, I KNOW I am too old for that! It's always sad when something like this ends for the year, but there is always next year!
Congrats on 2nd place! You are obviously in the "better" league because I have never seen you. We play our tournament next week. We usually hover around last place (out of 9 teams). HA!
It's fun either way!!!
Good job on the 2nd place. That is great!
Sounds like fun. Wish I could play volleyball. I suck at it. :0)
Congrats on 2nd place. I hear ya about "being too old". I played freeze tag with my younger cousins and thought I would have to make a trip to the ER for a heart attack. :0)
2nd place is pretty darn good for a bunch of old duffers. :O)
You ARE old! Ha ha! J/K! Great job!!
