Where or where to start. Let's back up a few weeks and start with the 4th of July. The night before we did some fireworks at our house. Just the small things, such as snakes, tanks, frogs, chickens, sparklers, smoke balls and fire crackers! Micah LOVED the smoke balls, didn't really care for the snakes after the first one. I guess they were boring. We didn't let him hold the sparklers because I was afraid he would get burned! He had fun and so did we. It has been years since I have been around fireworks! I think I actually forgot how much I enjoy them!
For the 4th we went to Ramona to the parade. We had a good time, the kids got WAY to much candy but had a blast while collecting. Here are a couple of pictures of the crew!

After the parade, we decided to head over to the Gonyo's to grill out. It was a very nice, relaxing time. The kids had a blast and some other friends of ours came too! It was a wonderful day!

After the grill out and play, we headed to the fireworks display at the lake. It was a great show and Micah really liked them. When the big bangers would go off, he would just turn quick and look! Then he would say, "Ohhh, Boom!" I wasn't sure what he would think, but he didn't mind. He was exhausted so he wouldn't sit still!!

Great pictures!! We almost went to the parade in Ramona...that's kind of by Madison, right? I was too tired after work though. Bummer, it looks like it was a lot of fun! I like fireworks too and our kids are finally getting old enough to really enjoy them with us. It won't be long and Micah will be wanting his own punk and a pack of firecrackers!!
