Another week gone!

Another week bites the dust! Thank goodness it is just about the weekend!!!

We have had a pretty great week actually. Monday night Micah had the privilege to join some friends of ours for story time at the library! He is to young to actually attend story time, so tagged along with them and enjoyed it greatly! They read a story about fall colors so I am told! Sounds like a very good deal all the way around.

Tuesday and Wednesday we didn't do much. Just hung out and relaxed. Thursday night, we took Micah out to the airport. He was able to see some real AIRPLANES! He was so excited, he could hardly contain himself. Every time he hears a airplane in flying he will put his one hand to his ear and say, "Hear that??" Oh yeah, he loves the sound of airplanes! Once we got there, he had the chance to see a few in their hangers and that was great, but he didn't want to sit in them or do anything like that. He was just fine watching! I think he was a little shy with not knowing anyone and I am guessing those planes were a little bigger than he thought they were! So, there will be no airplane rides for that little man in the near future, we will have to let him get used to the idea first!!
Other than the planes, he had the chance to take a ride on a four wheeler with daddy! OH MY GOSH, he was in love!! His smile could not have gotten any bigger! I have a feeling we might have a kid that likes anything with wheels! I guess that is perfectly fine in my book! Here is a picture of him on the 4 wheeler! (of course he wouldn't smile at that time!)

After the ride on the 4 wheeler, he had the chance to see a large toy train. He loved that too!! He just sat and watched it as if he was in a trance! He did try to bribe more money out of the guy showing us after he learned the rail road sign flashed and made noise if you put a penny in the slot but we quickly said it was time to go! LOL

He also had the chance to see a real TURTLE! A guy had found it on the road so he was hauling it around with him. Micah was able to pet him, touch his feet and watch him crawl around. For some reason he was obsessed with his feet!! It was funny to watch him try to touch them, those turtles move pretty quick believe it or not! I was suprised!

Well, this weekend should be another quiet one. Tonight I have a pampered chef party to attend, that should be a pretty good time. I can always find thing to buy! No other plans besides that, we are going to enjoy the down time!
