It was supposed to be a picture of Lena, Adam and Kelsey but somehow Micah snuck in there! I thought this was a good picture! Kelsey, Micah & Adam!
On our way home we decided to stop at Fry-n-Pan for supper. We had a great meal, but I can honestly say this was the first time I have been truly ready to speak my mind to a person sitting in the booth next to us. It was a younger kid (18-21) and he was speaking very loudly. Well, as he continues on with his story, it is the F bomb here and there and other words on top of it. It was continuous!! It was bad enough, Micah looked at me and asked "Mom, what is that?" Meaning, what is that word and can I say it? Finally I had enough and he let it fly again and I slammed my cup down loud enough that it caught his attention and then I leaned out and gave him the stink eye. He didn't maintain eye contact long and that was the end of the swearing. Don't get me wrong, I am no saint and I swear too, but come on, in a public place and to be doing it over and over and over. I thought it was rude. I was quite surprised by my reaction because generally I blow things off pretty easily, but not this time..
Sunday, we decided to go to Sioux Falls again and get some materials for a few projects we are working on. We spent a good chunk of the afternoon down there. We were home by 5:30 or so, JUST IN TIME FOR THE SUPERBOWL! I actually DVR'ed it so we could pause, fast forward etc so it was great!! It was a great game and that is what the superbowl should be! I would be lying if I didn't secretly hope the Cardinals were going to win. Something about the Steelers ora rubs me the wrong way. I guess maybe I like to root for the underdog! But all in all, it was a great game. I thought the commercials sucked, which was a bit disappointing. The 3D commercial was very cool! I don't remember ever seeing anything with 3D glasses in the past so it was a neat thing for me! I know, weirdo! LOL..
Monday night Craig had pool league again, Micah and I hung out and did a few things around the house. Tuesday night I had volleyball. It went well, we won 5 out of 6, so not to shabby. Wednesday we had our monthly card night. However, this time, things got a little crazy. One of the ladies was missing. Yes, missing, so we thought anyway. We ended up spending 2 1/2 hrs on the phone, talking to police, family members etc. She turned up but it was a scary couple of hours not knowing where she was. Thankfully everyone is fine. Thursday night we had some friends over for supper. Micah and their daughter Lizzie love to get together and play! Lizzie is one of the few names that if you say it, Micah gets truly excited!! Knowing we are getting together is something we don't tell him to far in advance because that will be all we hear about until it occurs. Here are a couple of pictures of the two munchkins!
BFF, Lizzie and Micah
Like the caught in the headlights look on their faces?
They were engrossed in their books when I called their names! This is what I got!! haa..
You guys all have a great weekend!! We will talk to you again soon!!!

I would have done the same thing with the kid that was swearing. Dawson went to Mark's office this weekend when the guys were having drill and everyone was swearing. Dawson took care of business for me though and told those guys "those are not nice words"
LOL
Sounds like a fun and busy weekend.
