On Wednesday evening, Grandma and Grandpa arrived at our house! Micah was so excited to have them visit and stay at HIS house!! They were nice enough to come up a few days before his birthday party to watch him as we didn't have daycare on Thursday or Friday. It was wonderful to have them visit and Micah really enjoyed it!
On Thursday, Craig & Grandpa Harlan worked on the house project. They got the grade correct and just cleaned up a few other things. Micah and Grandma hung out at home and enjoyed the nice cool weather! I came home for lunch that day and when I was getting ready to leave, Micah said he was tired. I tucked him into bed and figured he fell fast asleep. Ahh No, he decided that after mom left, he would go out and sit on Grandma's lap in the recliner to take a nap! What a little stinker but I guess I won't say much, I am sure grandma didn't mind a bit!
Here are a couple of pictures:
Cuddling with Grandma!

Ok, let me explain.. While everyone was hanging out that night, Grandpa Harlan was showing off his tricks. He can ride a bike backwards!!! I have a video I will post, but I will do that a little later. Of course the kids had to be like Grandpa and try to do it!!Here is Micah giving his best effort!

Elijah's turn to give it a whirl!

I love the picture of Micah eating corn on the cob. For some reason he looks so grown up there. Sounds like he got some quality time with his grandparents! We bought Max a doll right after Siri was born. He was almost 3. He was the same way, wanted something to cuddle with and "take care of." With a real baby in the house he took it a step farther. He would breast feed his baby too. Usually only when I was feeding Siri. And I caught him a couple times with my pump and when I asked what he was doing he said, "pumping"...like "duh, what do you mean what am I doing!" It was hilarious!! He's a well adjusted 'all boy' boy now at 9 years old, tell Craig to rest assured :) Jay wasn't too fond of the whole situation either!!
