Cool Dudette Liz and Cool Dude Micah
On May 4th it was Craig's brother, Ryan's birthday. Of course we had to run over there so Micah could give him his present! Oh how Micah loves his cousins, aunt and uncle! As we arrived, Brandy and Elijah were heading out to 4H so we didn't get to see them much.Ebeni, Declan and Ryan with presents from their family! (Missing: Brandy & Elijah)
Ryan blowing out his birthday candles!
This picture has quite the story to go with it.. We were outside with the kiddos and Declan comes walking in looking like this. I was very curious as to what on earth he was planning to do.
Silly Shot!
Video of exactly what Declan was up too!
Yes, that is a grinder and yes, he is cutting his bike. He plead his case to his dad and dad said what the heck. They are going to attempt to put a motor on that bike. Should be interesting to see how it turns out!
I'm Ready to go!

Friday May 7th we went out for supper with Ryan and Brandy in SF. Micah had the opportunity to stay at his cousins. They had 2 sitters, Jessica and Jenna. They took the kids swimming at the community center, they had pizza and all around had fun. Micah must have had a great time because he walked around the house the next day chanting, "J E S S I C A, J E S S I C A!" While the kiddies played, we went to Bracco's and had supper. It was really good and just and over all enjoyable experience. We all ordered something different and tried them all! I had a Cajun Chicken Tortellini, Brandy had the Jerk Chicken Flat Bread, Craig had the Cubana sandwich and Ryan had the Teriyaki Sirloin Steak. OH wait, I had the best soup too! It was Chicken Enchilada and it was to die for! I might have to do some digging and find a recipe for that! After we were finished eating we made one last pit stop at the Cold Stone Creamery for ice cream! Oh, it was delicious but I was to full to eat much of it! :( After the ice cream was finished we headed home to rescue the babysitters! It was a great night, I hope we are able to do it again sometime soon! Ryan and Brandy enjoying a night out! Happy Birthday Ryan!
Craig and ISaturday was a rat race!! Saturday morning was grocery day, so I took off to SF for that. Craig watched Micah and later added 2 kids to the mix. Chase and Briana came over for a little while in the morning. Micah had a blast I guess because when I got home he was gone! Craig explains to me that when Marsha came to get the kids, Micah had big alligator tears because he wanted to play with them longer! Needless to say he did that to the right person because Marsha loaded him up with her kids and took her home! What a stinker.. So I managed to get a bunch of stuff done around the house like cleaning and preparing dinner for Sunday. Late afternoon, I headed over to get Micah and help celebrate a very special girls birthday! Briana was celebrating her 9th birthday party. The kids had a ball banging on a pinata and of course eating cake!! After the party we headed home so Micah could take a much needed nap!
Briana and her Curious George Cake! I am not sure what she is doing in this picture, but I love it! She is such a great kid!
Happy Birthday Briana!!Sunday was a very special day, MOTHER'S Day!! As you all know, I love being a mother, it is the best job in the world! So to have a day to celebrate that is awesome in my book! Micah had a very special performance at church with all of his Sunday school friends. It warmed my heart to watch the kids do so well up there in front of everyone! We also had some very special visitors that day.. Grandma Michelle and Grandpa Kurt came to watch Micah and have dinner with us. Micah super excited to have them here for his performance on the "Stage" as he calls it. The only minor problem was that we didn't make our normal stop by the grocery store for donuts after church. :( We had plans to eat dinner early so we figured we better pass on the donuts or we wouldn't be hungry. Micah was not so happy about that, but he survived! We had Swedish chicken breasts, fresh fruit and lettuce salad for dinner. Not sure what everyone else thought, but I thought it was great! Micah was officially tired and ready for a nap after dinner. It was to bad that he didn't get to spend more time with Grandma and Grandpa, but he slept for 3 hours so I would say he needed! Being a star is hard work you know!
Below is a video of the program.
Let me give you a little run down on this group.. The preschoolers have a pretty large group but there are 3 others that are Micah's besties. We have Chase, Josiah and little Anna proudly in our besties group. I guess I can't speak for any of the other kids, but I know Micah is super proud to have them as his friends. He talks about them all the time, prays for them all at supper, wants them all to come to his house, wants to go to their house, and on and on and on. So it made me chuckle when I watched them walk out on the stage and they were all close together. No Surprise there!!
In this video, you will see Micah in the Blue Plaid shirt, Anna is in a yellow sun dress, Josiah has a green shirt on and Chase is in a white/blueish shirt - next to the boy in the pink shirt. ENJOY!
This week has been busy with little projects here and there. We finally have carpet installed in Micah's new room as well as the trim is done (except for window). YEAAAA!! Here are a few pictures..

This makes me laugh so I thought I would share. Last week Micah wanted to play with play dough so of course I let him. After a little while, he asked if I wanted to play play dough too! I said sure, why not! We were busy creating when he decided he wanted to make a pig! Ok, he should have said, I want you to make a pig and I will tell you exactly what to do! He gave me a very strict instructions and made sure I did everything right from the black eye balls to the toe nails. Here is our little fellow.. Don't mind the blue pack back. That was a must have accessory for this fellow!! If only I knew where he gets these ideas!! ha..
Well, that is it for this post. Ha... I am sure you are thinking, FINALLY! You all have a great weekend. We are heading south for my nephews graduation, should be a good weekend!!
