July 4th, 2010 Weekend

Micah slept most of the afternoon on Saturday and when he woke up he came hobbling out of his room. I asked what was wrong and he said, "My legs hurt mom!" I promptly took his temp and it was 103.5! I would say he was just a little achy. We downed some meds, ate a couple freezies and jumped into the bath. By the time we were done with all that his temp was back down to normal. I think the thing that scared me the most was when I took his temp I got one reading of 105.7! I about crapped but I simply rechecked it right away and it was only 103.5! SO the high one was a misread thankfully! We lounged around and finally he ate just a little bit of a sandwich. He was listening to me about drinking lots of water so that was a good thing!

In the evening, we decided he was good enough to go outside and shoot off some fireworks. He was super excited! He decided to wear a combination of winter/summer PJ's complete with Light up Buzz Light year sandals and Mater hat! Isn't he a sight! I was really not worried about what he looked like as he was have a good time and seemed to get some energy back!

Craig and Micah shooting off a Tank! Playing with some sparklers!

After spent a couple of hours messing around with our fireworks, we decided to go get some more! LOL We stopped at the cousins and asked them if they wanted to join us for a little firework fun! I think a good time was had by all!!

Front row seat to the show! Ha Ha.. Micah, Uncle Ryan, Ebeni and Elijah!

We had a good time! Micah has asked everyday since if we can go get more fireworks!!
After we were done with that the kids rode bikes for awhile. At first Micah thought he was better served by having Elijah tote him around in the cart! What a stinker! You will see by the video that didn't last long! Nothing better than a little bike riding to make the world a better place!
Sunday, July 4th, Micah woke up and seemed to be feeling good! Yahoo! Off to the Ramona we went! They have a Whopper feed every year and then a good ole fashion small town parade. It has become a tradition for the Gonyos and us to head that direction! We had a nice time and only had a few hiccups along the way. Micah was the culprit of them all! He decided to stick a gallon zip lock bag on his head! Yep, scared the crap out of me and everyone else around. That kind of set things in motion, he was an emotional basket case after that! When the parade started, Baily and Micah were getting candy, well, he wasn't getting enough or whatever he thought and he had a crying melt down. In the end it all worked out, but ugghhh, I don't like it when he acts like that! Lucky for him it was short lived! :-)
Ms. Bailey & Little Miranda waiting for the parade to start.
Bailey, Gary, Miranda and Dana!
Micah, Craig and Myself. You can see Micah wasn't happy!
Such a doll..
Very patriotic! Way to go LeBahn's!
After the parade, we headed home. It was time for Micah to take a nap! After he and his daddy woke up, we headed out to the state park where Dana and Gary were camping. The plan was to let the kiddos play, grill out and hang out. We had a great time just relaxing!
Micah and Miranda
Miranda and Grandma Susan. I love it, Miranda has brownie all over her teeth! :-)

After supper, we were hanging around and the kids asked if they could roast marshmallows. So, we told them to go on a stick hunt. This is what they brought back!! That better be one BIG marshmallow! LOL

That was our 4th of July. Pretty mellow, but enjoyable all the same!!

Monday, Micah and I ran to SF to get groceries. He had a choice, stay home and play or come with mom to get groceries. The winner was groceries! The kid still loves to shop!! He must get that from my brother, Kevin because I surely don't like to shop! Other than that, we did not do much at all.

Today is my birthday! I am know 35 yrs old. Crap, how did I get so old? All I have to say is the first 35 yrs have been amazing! I hope that the future holds great things for me and my family!
