On Sunday, July 17th (Micah's real birthday), we spent the day as a family. Micah and daddy spent a lot of time sweating on the trampoline! It was a great day and we enjoyed the time we had together.

On July 20th, I traveled to Alcester for my friend, Val's mom funeral. Diane fought the hard fight against cancer, but lost her batle on July 15th. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother and will be dearly missed by all.

On Saturday, July 23rd we traveled to Hartford to the races. We watched our favorite driver, Matt and simply enjoyed the evening. Micah loves going to the races so it is a great family activity for us to do. Craig and Micah have officially named the B-mods and their favorite class to watch!

On July 24th we met Dawn, Eli, Rose, Ashley and kids in Sioux Falls. We went to a sprinkler park and then out for supper. We love getting together with them and are so glad Dawn and Eli are back on the mainland even if it is in Washington, DC area! Hopefully, we will be able to get out there sometime in the near future to visit them. The kid had a great time playing together. The sprinkler park was admittedly a bust as the water was a little cold for them, but we took full advantage of the playground nearby instead! Afterwards we ate at Johnny Carino's which is one of Craig's favorites. Micah decided after our visit that he is going to marry Juliann someday and Trip was going to be his little brother so we will have to see how that works out for them! I think Juliann might have some competition already since he has a "girlfriend" at preschool named Cambry. And so it begins!

Recently Dawn's Dad, Lefty has fallen ill. He is having some balance problems and is currently in the nursing home with hopes that physical therapy will give him the strength to return home. Please pray for his recovery and for her mom, Rose and the rest of the family during this trying time.
