Sunday Funday!

Malachi and I started our day by going to church. He is practicing for his Christmas program! We will see how that goes, he is not as sure about being in front of people as some kids so I’m not sure how brave he will be.

Micah has been officially quarantined except for school and rehearsal for Elf Jr. we want to do our part to keep him healthy and Covid free for is performances. I pray that happens because we will have one disappointed boy if something happens. Given the year they have had, it would just be another blow to him and I’m not sure he could take that one.

Craigs health hasn’t been the best. He had a really bad flare with his Ulcerative Colitis and he just hasn’t gotten through it. He is scheduled for a colonoscopy next Friday so we will see how that turns out. His GI doctor is thinking that Entyvio might have stopped working but we have our doubts. We will see how it goes and have some serious conversations from there.

Today was a good day, I got some more baking done. My foot is sore but I am happy with what I got done.

Roxie texted me about an email that Kristin sent her. It’s such a mess and we are in between a rock and a hard place. We either cry uncle and give up or keep fighting for what we believe is right and best for our guys. I am definitely leaning towards giving up. It’s just not worth it. All that is happening is we are getting a bad name because we keep fighting with them because they are dumb. No recognition or respect given to us for the roles we play. We are just slave workers to them and get paid nothing compared to those idiots. I’m so over it and ready to sit back, eat my popcorn and watch the show. It might take a while, but eventually a big ball will get dropped.. it will not be our problem.. I will no longer give them anytime for free. I will come at 7 and leave at 4 and I will take an hour lunch. I will not answer my phone after 4 or emails. It is time for this to be a permanent change. I constantly come back here, but every single time I go back to my old habits. This time is different. Brad will not get me to do anything unless he directs me (if it isn’t my job), I won’t talk to him for weeks I am sure.. this time, will be different, I am going to keep track of our contact and see just how many times we talk in a day, week or month.

I have to change my habits to change my attitude. Just no way around it. No response is a response like Roxie said, from now on, no response unless necessary.
