This weekend, we traveled to Cameron, MO for my nephew, Gordon's wedding. We left on Friday about noon. We managed to meet up with my brother, Mike and his daughter, Kylie in Colman (they live in MN). We were able to follow each other down, which was nice. After our arrival on Friday, we decided to go out to Gordon's farm where they were having the rehearsal supper. It was a nice night so being outside was great after being in the car all day. My brother, Kevin (father of groom) had on a tux and he was grilling! See pictures below!
Gotcha! haa haa.. It was pretty funny though! From a distance it looked real. He is such a ham.
Saturday we decided to head into St. Joseph to see Kevin and his fiance, Cindy's house. What a nice place they have there! We didn't stay long as we had to let them get back to doing their pre wedding stuff. We decided to head back to the motel and swim. We managed to get in a few minutes of swimming before it was time to get ready for the wedding. Of course we were running behind, but that is normal! If we wouldn't have gotten lost on the wedding we would have been fine!! Funny thing is, as we are lost, I get a call from Lena (Cousin) wondering where we were and how the heck to get to the church! They were lost too! Leave it to our family to be chasing our tails. We managed to get there on time, whew! The wedding went off without a hitch!
We then went and changed clothes so we could be a little more comfortable. They had a very nice reception and dance. We had a great time spending some quality time with my family and getting to visit with them. We definately don't get to do that very often and that is a shame.
We also had the opportunity to see my cousin Mike. He is back on his 14 day break from his tour in Iraq. It was sure great to see him and we can't wait from him to return in a few months!! Thanks for taking the time to come see us!! Stay safe and we will see you when you get back!

OH MY GOODNESS, I forgot to mention, we found out that my brother, Mike and his wife, Jody are having a baby in February! This is #5 for them. They are great parents and I couldn't be happier for them. They currently have 2 girls and 2 boys, so a tie breaker it is! I just hope all goes well and everyone is healthy. Congrats!!!
That is about all for our weekend! We had a good time and it we hope to see everyone again soon!!
