Weekend before Christmas!

Just in case you thought I feel off the face of the earth, I didn't!! It has been really busy with the holidays and we are not done yet! I figured I better drop you all a note and get you up to speed. The weekend before Christmas we went to NE for the Nelson Christmas. It was a wonderful time! We arrived Friday night and thankfully the roads were good! Saturday we got up and opened presents! The kids really had a blast, OK maybe the cousins were alittle irritated with aunt Tess! See, I had decided that they wouldn't have it so easy this year. They always take turns opening and from there I cooked up a plan! I wrapped their movies in multiple packages so when they opened one and got another package, they had to wait until it was their turn again! So this went on for a few times and they just wanted their gift!! I think the adults enjoyed seeing them squirm!! Never know what I will come up with next year! So after that, we headed into Lincoln to visit aunt Donna and see her new house. What a beautiful house she has, lots of raw woodwork which is awesome!! Of course the kids couldn't leave there without a few cookies and presents! Thanks Donna!! After that we headed back to Grandma and Grandpas. We ate pizza and truely enjoyed spending time as a family. Sunday, we had our Christmas dinner of Ribs! Grandma is such a good cook, I wish I had 1/2 that talent!! After our bellies were full, sadly, we had to hit the road. It was a wonderful weekend and we hope to see them again soon!! Here are a few pictures from the weekend.
