We decided that on Christmas Eve and Christmas day we were going to spend it at home with just the three of us. But at the last minute we decided that we wanted to go to Alcester dinner on Christmas day. Well, that didn't go as planned as you will see in the pictures. Weather forced us to turn around once we hit the interstate and come home. It just wasn't worth the risk when we weren't originally planning on it anyway. Anyway, we did enjoy ourselves. Christmas Eve we spent a while driving around town looking at Christmas lights. Micah really enjoyed that - we figured out he did know who Santa was as he would call out his name when he saw him in peoples yards!! It was to cute. Other than that, we just watched a movie and hung out. Christmas morning we got up and opened presents. Micah had a ball this year! I think he finally figured out that there was cool stuff under that paper!! He seemed to like everything that "Santa" brought for him, so that was good! After presents we got ready and hit the road. That being short lived, I called our friends Dana and Gary to see what they were up to. They also were just sitting at home, so we got together. I brought over Chili and we had a nice time visiting for a few hours. Micah always likes to play with Bailey and Craig always likes to cuddle with Miranda!! Ha.. After the visit we headed home and enjoyed our evening. It was back to work the next day for us! That is our events in a nut shell, I hope that everyone had a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Years! (We didn't do anything on new Years, stayed home with Micah and enjoyed our time together!)
We were supposed to have my sides Christmas this weekend, but plans have changed! My brother in Missouri is going to get married instead!! We are headed there tomorrow and should return on Sunday sometime. We are very happy for them, they have been trying to find a date that worked and they decided on Wednesday that this was the weekend! Yes, I said Wednesday! We look forward to seeing everyone that can make it!!

I heard about your "break in" while you were in NE. Mike didn't tell me about it until after he told you, but he was pretty worried. I'm glad everything was fine. It sounds like you had a nice Christmas. Just wait until next year, then Micah will really get excited about opening presents!

Wow, those roads look bad! It's probably good that you turned around. The pictures of Micah are really cute, it looks like he had a fun Christmas. I hope you had a good time at your brothers wedding!
