Memorial Day Weekend

We had another weekend on the road. We went to Talmage, NE to see Craig's Grandma Hazel. What a wonderful day we had! We left home at about 8 AM and arrived at Grandma's at 2:00PM (That includes a dinner stop!). We had a wonderful visit with everyone. She is doing really well and we all feel so blessed for that. Craig's cousins stopped by while we were there so that was a pleasant surprise. I am ashamed to say we have not seen them for 9 years! We ended up leaving around 6 PM which put us at home around 11:30 PM. The trip went well and Micah was such a trooper! He doesn't seem to mind sitting in his seat for that long as long as he has a movie, crackers and milk!!

Sunday Micah woke up crying, I figured he was over tired. He layed around all morning, again I figured he was tired from the the long day.. Changed Micah's shirt, he felt warm, took temp - 102.7!!!! Yes, we had a sicky on our hands. No idea what it is, he ran a fever all day Sunday & Monday he still had a low grade one. Yesterday he slept the entire day! We have our teenage neighbor girl watching him this week. She said he slept all morning!! She had to wake him up to eat lunch. He then fell asleep again a little after 2 and was sleeping when I got home at 4. I hope he is just playing catch up. I know you are wondering if he slept last night! Yes, he actually went to bed earlier than normal and he slept until this morning! We will see how today goes, his fever is gone but he has this terrible hack again. I just want SUMMER to get here so we can be healthy! Goodness, it has been a tough year for the sickies..

This coming weekend we are heading to the zoo with our friends, Dawn, Eli and their daughter Juliann. They are enlisted and will be moving to Hawaii in a few weeks so we are taking the opportunity to see them! I hope this dumb weather cooperates!!! I guess it will be plan B if it is raining!
