Happy Thursday everyone! I hope that your week is going well and you are getting to enjoy the nice weather we have been having. Micah is in love with outside as I'm sure most kids are. We didn't have our regular sitter Fri, Mon or Tuesday. He had the chance to go to our friends, Monica & Bill's house. Oh, HE LOVES it there.. Monica & their daughter, Lizzie must keep him on his toes.. When you ask him if he wants to go to their house, he gets a huge smile from ear to ear. I would say he enjoys it. When I picked him up on Tuesday, he was in the pool! He was having such a good time, it made me smile. Thank you Monica!! Monday we had Kristen, our neighbor girl watch him. He slept all afternoon, so I think it went ok! :) He was back to Jolynn's yesterday. He was happy about that! I think his routine has been turned upside down so much he is all out of wack! He has been waking up at 1:00 AM or so crying. No real reason, just crying. Craig found him behind his door the other night. Not sure if he is sleep walking or just disorientated and gets confused. We still have a baby gate in his doorway, so he can't wander the house. When we first did the toddler bed, we found him a few mornings sleeping in the living room on the floor, hence the baby gate! It scared me to think he could be wandering the house and I wouldn't know it! He has also been extremely cranky.. I am not sure if it is the terrible twos creeping in or if something is going on. It might be a little of both. He has been throwing a fit right before it is time to eat, then he doesn't eat because he is so worked up. This happened a few days in a row and it was ridiculous. I finally put him in time out and whola, he ate 3 helpings of supper!! I am guessing he is testing his limits, but I wonder with the getting up in the middle of the night & the fussiness if there isn't something more to it. I guess we will see if anything rears it's ugly head.
This last weekend we packed up and went to Nebraska. We left Friday afternoon and arrived at Grandma & Grandpa Nelson's around 7:30 PM. Micah was so excited to see them! Saturday, we were on the move to a surprise 40th wedding anniversary for Aunt Gloria & Uncle Jim! Their two sons had planned this party without their knowledge and pulled it off without a hitch! They had even went into Gloria's closet and found her wedding dress, a bridesmaids dress!! Sneaky!
It was a great day! We had the chance to visit with everyone we don't see often enough. Craig's mom, Jenny even surprised them by flying back from Vegas for it!! It was pretty neat, we all surprised them and Jenny hid in another room. Then she called Gloria on her cell phone. After a short conversation, Jenny said she had a gift, but she didn't want to mail it so she thought she would deliver it in person!!! Gloria was confused, all she said was "in person?" Then Jenny came walking into the room. It was a very special moment. The boys also had planned for them to renew their vows (Yes, they didn't know about it!) It was amazing! All except 1 of the originally wedding party was there so they stood up for them again. It was very very special! After the party, we decided to all head out to Jim and Gloria's house for a visit.

Micah is such a sweetheart!!! I hope he sleeps better at night. I am still sticking Caymen in her crib until she is in kindergarten. HA!
Does make you wonder if he might be teething or have an ear infection or something. Hope he can sleep better.
Looks like everyone had a fun time last weekend. What fun to renew their vows and have almost everyone there from there wedding party. Great pictures.
I bet Micah will be fine once he gets back into his regular routine. Or, possibly it is the terrible twos. I can't believe that is just around the corner. Slow down boys!!!
The 40th wedding anniversary......awesome! I bet they had a great time. It put a smile on my face, and I don't even know them.
Is Micah getting his two year molars? That's the only thing I can think of unless it's just a growth spurt. Hard to tell!

I was going to say two year molars too. It's hard to tell though. If he's been out of his routine, that might be all it is. Hopefully it gets better soon!
