This weekend was a very nice weekend. We stayed home which was great!!!
Friday night we stayed home. Micah and I hung out while Craig worked on the house. Of course he worked on the house! Poor guy, he spent all weekend working on the basement stairway. He is replacing the stairs and it turned into tearing out lath and plaster and sheetrocking instead. Oh fun stuff I tell ya!! He is ready for a vacation I am sure of it!!
Saturday, we went to a 3rd birthday party! It was a good time, the kids were able to play outside and enjoy being together. I have a few pictures, as you can see, they had a good time!!

After the party we came home to relax for a while. We had plans of going to the races that night. I found Micah laying on the extra bed w/ our cat, Baxter. He was just petting him and relaxing. I thought it was cute. 
We did make it to the races on Saturday. It was a nice night except for the wind! Gotta love South Dakota! We enjoy the races, but it sure has lost some of its thrill for us. Back in the day (Oh boy, I sound old!) - we were friends with a bunch of the drivers or Craig was helping his brother on his car. We had so much camaraderie and that was the best part! Now we go to watch one person and that is it. It just isn't the same and that makes me sad.
Sunday Micah and I didn't do much of anything. We pretty much vegged all day. I did manage to do a little cleaning, but of course I didn't want to do to much! Around 7:00 PM, we got a call from some of my family. They were heading back from Pierre and were going to hit the state fair in Huron. Well, lets just say this, they ended up in Madison! You can look at your mapquest and figure out the rest!! :) Anyway, we had the chance to visit with them and go to DQ for some ice cream. Adam and his girlfriend, Kelsey were playing cars with Micah, having races and everything! He absolutely had a ball!! Here are a few pictures of the visit..

Monday Micah and I again hung out. We managed to get my flowers pulled up and that area cleaned up. That depresses me, it makes me realize winter is right around the corner! Boo Hoo!
That was our weekend. This week doesn't look to hectic. Micah and I might head to the volleyball match tonight, but we will see how he is doing. Nobody in our household slept very well last night. Craig has a cough that kept him up most of the night, in turn that woke up Micah at 1:00 AM. He decided it was time to come into our room until 4:00AM when finally I said enough was enough!!! He is a restless sleeper just like me and he was ALL over the place! I love him, but there is a reason he sleeps in his own bed!! Ughh!!! Hopefully he won't be to crabby tonight, we will see!

It sounds like you had a great weekend staying home. Sometimes it's nice to NOT travel! Great pictures. Micah sure is a cutie!!
Sounds like a good weekend. I like those where you really don't have anything to worry about or do or go to. We are in a toddler bed now. And she is not wanting to stay in it. It is a struggle and I don't know what to do to remedy it. Any suggestions from your experience are welcome.
