After our exciting Good Friday, we decided to have a fabulous Saturday and head to Sioux Falls to do some shopping. We haven't gone as a family for quite some time so we had quite the list!! First we dropped off Craig at Menards while we went and had Micah's shoes checked. No new shoes were needed, but we did bump into an old friend, Bryan, his wife and children. It was nice to chit chat with them!! Of course it was short lived as we had to get back to pick up Craig. We then went to Target to get a few things and found something we weren't looking for! We found Micah's Toy Story bedding! For those of you that don't know, we are doing a Toy Story room for Micah with wall murals and everything! He is so excited and he loves to watch Angie paint! I will post pictures in a later post, but it is awesome! I wish I had a room like that!! LOL.. Anyway, we were able to hide Micah's bedding from him plus daddy thought we just had to buy him the stuffed Buzz Light Year they had! We did manage to get it all in the car without Micah being to curious! Score one for mom and dad! Next stop was Toys R Us. We were thinking of buying Micah his first bike so we wanted to check them out. We didn't know what size he would need or if he could even do it! So, we looked at a few and THEN he saw it.. It was PERFECT, Blue and had his best friends on it! Can you guess what kind of bike it is?

Bikes, Easter, Candy!
Here is a close up pictures if you have no idea..
Yes, TOY STORY! As you can only imagine, we bought it there on the spot as Micah wasn't having it any other way! That was ok with us, it was fun to see him so excited about something. I also looked at new bikes, but I have no idea what I want or need. The bike I currently have was given to me by my brother when I went to college. Do the math and you will figure out this Mt Bike is old! :-) Sad thing is, Craigs is even older than mine, I think he said he has had his since high school or jr. high! We did decide however that they were good enough for now and we would wait on us for the time being.
After the bike excitement, we decided we needed to stop at Burger King and have supper. After that it was off to Lowe's for some home shopping. We picked up a few things, looked at deck options and then we were on our way home. Micah was super excited about getting home to put his bike together!!
Here is Micah and dad putting accessories on his new bike!
Like this dad?
More accessories!
Micah, "Dad we have to check the tires!"
Yes, he is using the tire pressure gauge for vehicles!
It is his new hot rod so why not!!
One VERY HAPPY Boy!!
I will post a video later as I can't figure out how to put videos in my posts! The icon that used to allow that is no longer there. Hummmm.. Changes like that frustrate me!!
Well, Sunday we went to Easter Service and Micah sat with us. He did pretty well even though he was bored spitless. Here is a picture of him before Church.
After church we went to A-town for a family lunch. It was a good time and of course the kids liked the easter egg hunt the best! Thanks Michelle and Karla for doing that.
Here are a few pictures of the kiddos..

Trying to get a group shot on the bench, but the sun was bright and Izzac wasn't having it! :)
That was our Easter weekend. It was great to spend time together as a family and relax. Hopefully this summer will bring more family time and lots of fun!!
