Vacation Wrap UP

This week, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday I took vacation time. With not having daycare I thought it was a great time for Micah and I to spend some quality time together! Monday we ran errands and went to the park with Dana and girls after lunch. Monday night I worked out and Craig worked on his truck. He put on new brake pads and rotors. The rotors were warped and it was time to change them!! Tuesday Micah and I ran errands and just hung out. It was nice to have a down day! Wednesday we headed to Sioux Falls with Brandy and the kids. We went to a place called Color Me Mine. It is a paint your own pottery place where you pick a piece and paint it anyway you want. I have quite a few pictures from the event of course!

We had to leave our projects at the store for a week which was a little disappointing as the website made it sound like you could bring them home the same day. It wasn't the end of the world, it just wasn't what we expected. They will be ready next Wednesday so we will have to see if we are going to make a road trip to get them!!

Wednesday night we had bowling with our church. Wow, what a turn out they had! The place was packed and it appeared as if everyone was having a wonderful time! We managed to bowl one game with the Gonyo's and then it was time for us to head out as Micah did not have a nap and he was ready to crash! He had a great time playing with all his friends!!!

That was the end of our vacation. Thursday it was back to the real world and we were not very happy about it! :-) Thursday night I worked out again and let me tell you, I am struggling with my dang leg! My left leg, between my calf muscle and my shin bone on the inside is KILLING me. It is the strangest thing, I didn't "do" anything to it, other than my normal workouts but it is giving me fits. I have been fighting it for a couple of weeks and I keep thinking I can work through the pain. Well Thursday was just about enough to send me over the edge. I actually thought about quitting 1/2 way through the workout. For those of you that know me, know that is not me and I am no quitter. It is not something that is going away after the workout has stopped either. It is something that is always there and being annoying. I am thinking I am going to go to the chiro next week and see if there is something they can do for me.. What the heck, it can't hurt to try.. The bad thing is that after Thursday my left knee is hurting due to me altering exercises I think. That is not a good situation since that is the knee I had reconstruction on 5 years ago. I will have to figure out what on earth is going on soon or this is going to be a big problem.

This weekend is turning out to be pretty quiet. We were going to go to Catfish Bay tonight but Craig had to work late, so that was scratched. Micah and I went out for supper and Pizza Ranch because I didn't want to cook! We ran into the Gonyos there, they had the same idea! Tomorrow morning Dana and I are going to get groceries. It will be the first time in a long time since our schedules just haven't jived lately. It sounds like Craig and Micah are taking me on a date to SF tomorrow night for our wedding anniversary. We are going to go out to eat and to a movie. Micah is pretty excited to go on a date! Sunday will be church and housework I assume.
