Fun & Friends

Happy Friday everyone!!! We are really looking forward to our long weekend. We are heading south to have some fun with friends, four wheelers, fish and frogs! It doesn't get any better than that for a little boy!

This past weekend was a great one for us. Saturday we started our day by doing a little tree clean up and having a little fun with the camera. Craig was on a tree trimming mission and by the picture you can see we could not be around when he was trimming.

Micah and I had some fun with the camera while waiting! He was running around the vehicle and he wanted me to try and take pictures of him by sneaking them! It probably sounds silly, but we actually had a lot of fun with this.

Ahhhhhhhhh!!!
Peek a Boo I see you!!
He was full belly laughing here!! Love it!!
Time out, we need a mom and Micah picture!
Micah of course had to give taking pictures a try!! He actually did pretty well!
Peek!
Gotcha Mom!
I was trying to be sneaky and he caught me!
Then it was time to play shadow games!
Can you guess what he is making here?
Yeah, me either!! haa.. I had no idea what he was making, but he sure thought it was fun!!
After the brief break it was time for more catch me if you can camera games!!

I love this picture!! He was trying to get away but I got him!! :)
Ahhhh!
Then it was then time to go help pick up the tree mess! Micah was a big help and daddy even commented on how fast these projects go when he gets such good help from mom and Micah!!
Shortly after dinner we had some visitors! Lizzie and Wyatt came over for the afternoon and into the evening. Their mom and dad had things going on and it was a perfect opportunity to play with Micah! Everyone had a great time and Micah is patiently waiting for the next time we see them!
Mr. Wyatt!
They played dress up for a while. What a cute little monkey!
Lizzie and Micah playing in their fort while Wyatt naps. They had so much fun with this!
Sunday we went to church and then we headed out to Prairie Village to visit Pat, Loni and Caden. They were camping out there for Jamboree days so we figured it was a perfect time to get together. Micah loves to ride the train so they saved that for when we were there! Thanks guys!!
Here is Craig and Micah looking out the window.
I think they were trying to find the Hobo!
They also rode the carousal. They didn't really want to take a picture so I told them they didn't have to smile, they just had to look at me! Not to bad boys, not to bad! :)
It was great to visit with them even if it was short. Hopefully we won't go a year before we see them next!! Thanks for getting a hold of us guys!!

Wednesday was a very special little boys birthday! Chase turned 5 and Micah couldn't have been more excited that his buddy Chase had a birthday!! Micah loves their entire family so much he can't contain it! His face literally lights up at the mention of seeing any of them! We went over for supper and the kids made cupcakes! They had a ball and I think it was a successful birthday for Chase.
The Birthday Boy, Chase!
After cupcakes and presents, we headed outside and played a little apple ball! The kids really enjoyed it be to be honest I think the adults had more fun!! Craig, Dana, Gary, Marsha and I all took our turn at making apple sauce out of those apples! Who would have thought something so simple could be so much fun! Oh the simple things in life are the best aren't they!
Micah trying to hit an apple!
Craigs turn! I haven't seen a smile on his face like that in a very long time!
Something about true enjoyment that makes a person light up!
I hope you all have a great Labor day weekend! Be safe and enjoy yourselves!!
