Soccer!

Another crazy week in the Nelson household! Monday evening was Micah's story time and Craig had pool league. Sounds like he didn't do to bad considering they played a pretty tough team. I am not exactly sure what he ended up with for a score.

Tuesday night, I worked out and after that Craig worked at the church. Micah and I hung out and played some Mario Bros of course. It was a great night to just be lazy!! :-)

Wednesday night was Micah's first night of soccer. He has been waiting for this for quite some time! He was really excited about getting to go to the community center! He had a lot of fun and with the new instructors it has changed a little bit. The drills are pretty much the same, but they had some fun such as playing duck duck goose! That was funny to watch! Micah didn't seem to get bored with it which is great! I was worried about that since it is basically the same exact thing he did last year, but he still finds it fun! There were a lot more kids in it this time around which made it a little challenging but he still managed to have a good time.
I have a few pictures of Mr. Micah of course!!

Dribbling the ball, yes with your feet for those of you who only know basketball!

Do you think he enjoyed it??
Last night I had volleyball. We did ok but we are sure struggling at times. We only have a couple more weeks before tourney starts, I guess we will see how that goes. I can't believe the season is almost over already, it seems like we just started!! Micah and Craig came down to watch the 2nd game. Micah finally had the chance to talk to Matt about his future paint color! Micah has been wanting to ask him for a long time if he would paint his race car red next year! He thinks it would be really cool if Matt painted his car red like Lightning McQueen! Well, he asked him and Matt very nicely said he didn't think that would work because Kenny (co owner) doesn't like red! Micah took it pretty well, he told me afterwards, "Mom, we tried!" Ha Ha.
Well this weekend is packed full of fun. Tonight Micah and I are going to be baking and decorating cupcakes. He completed one of his responsibility charts and the reward he picked was bake something with mom. So, vampire cupcakes was his pick! Could be interesting to say the least!! Tomorrow night we are going to have Chase and Briana overnight. Matt and Marsha have the racing banquet in SF so we are taking the munchkins. None of the kiddos know we are doing this so it will be quite the surprise! Sunday Micah has a birthday party to go to at 3 for his buddy Cohen. I am sure he will enjoy himself!
Well, that is about all for this week. I hope you all have a great weekend! Try to stay dry as I heard it is going to be rainy all weekend in our part of the country. I am sad to see this beautiful weather go, maybe - just maybe the weatherman will be wrong!!
