Coloring, Softball, Movie and Swimming

On June 18th Micah decided to take advantage of the nice weather and color outside. He doesn't like to color a whole lot so this was good opportunity to make it a positive! He got a new coloring book for doing such a good job in swimming lessons and he was excited to try it out.

My peanut!
While we were sitting at the picnic table coloring, a friendly little bird decided to hope through the garage and see what was going on! Micah got a big chuckle out if it as we tip toed around and followed him! He went in one door, through the garage and out the other side of the garage and did nothing but look around. If you look closely you can see him over by Micah's bike.

That afternoon we headed to the ball diamonds. Briana was playing in a tourney and we wanted to go see her play. Her team didn't fair to well, but she did have a chance to get some practice in pitching in a game situation. She did really well and I would say she has a future with pitching if she stays at it. Here she is in a action shot!

After a while the boys had enough of watching softball so I headed to the park with them. Micah, Chase, Garet and Carsten had a great time playing together. Being boys I figured when I broke out the camera they would run for cover, but they didn't. I would say they were actually showing off for me!
Here are the 4 of them on the spider web!

Micah - blue mouth and all!

Yee Haw!

The next week, we didn't have daycare so Micah was lucky enough to go to Monica's the entire week. We were so blessed they took him!

Micah was going through a tough time during this time. On the Sunday of our friend get together, he decided he was going to the races with Marsha and there was nothing anyone was going to do about it. Chase and Briana had ridden their bikes so they took off and Marsha proceeded to leave. I wondered where Micah was but I assumed he was in the house. Well, the turkey decided to stow away in Marsha's car but lucky for us, Marsha discovered him right away. He was not happy and didn't want to get out of the car. She had to drag him out kicking and screaming, man, how embarassing! Lucky for us it was Marsha and she just picked him up and walked back to us, all while he was throwing a royal fit! Needless to say, he went right to bed and woke up a new kid a few hours later! While he was with Monica he also pulled a dandy. While at tee ball with Lizzie (Dana and Monica were coaching) Miranda and him decided to go to the park by themselves. Granted, I would say it was more Micah than Miranda as I am pretty sure it was his idea! After that one we had a meeting of the minds and he has been 100% better. I think it was just him testing but he quickly realized who was in charge even if his T-shirt says, "It's all about ME!"

On Friday, June 24th our church had a drive in theater. They had a pie auction prior to the movie to help earn money for the kids wanting to go to camp. They then showed the movie "How to Train Your Dragon" and the kids walked around selling popcorn and pop to vehicles. It was actually alot of fun! It got a little late for Micah and he fell asleep, but he had a good time.

We ended up getting Micah's pool out on Saturday the 25th. We also rounded up a slide for him to go down in it. He had a blast doing that but sadly the pool sprung a leak in one of the wind storms we had. I have purchased a new style hoping it will work better but have yet to get it up for him with all the house construction we have had going on. Hopefully after his birthday party we will get it set up again.

I appologize for this posting early w/ no information other than the pictures. For some reason my laptop likes to post without me pushing the button! Sorry!!
