I am going to have to do a quick run down of things to get caught up as this blog has once again gotten away from me. Hang in there with me, I am trying to keep everything straight but it might get a little scrambled from time to time.
On June 11th, I got groceries and the boys decided it was a good morning to sleep in. When I left, this is how they were sleeping. I thought it was cute and decided to snap a picture. The date on the picture is wrong, it got messed up somehow.
That night we met up with the Gonyo's at the local carnival. It is one of those carnivals that makes the adults cringe but the kids have a great time! The ferris wheel was a little scary as they only allowed 2 of the seats to be full at a time. The only reason we could come up with is that they needed to keep the weight down and balanced for it to be safe. Can you say SCARY? Lucky for me Micah chickened out and didn't want to ride it! WHEW!
Micah on his 4 wheeler! He has his game face on!
Bailey, Miranda and Micah going on the roller coaster. They put Miranda in the middle thinking they needed to protect her as it was her first time. That little dare devil wasn't phased a bit, they were all screaming and putting their hands up in the air like it was the ride of a lifetime! Bailey was a little green afterwards, but to her credit, it was a pretty bumpy ride!
Micah, Bailey and Miranda - all smiles!
Micah and Bailey going down the carpet slide! I am not sure if you can make out Micah's face, but he wasn't having the best time of his life. He did it once all by himself so we were proud of him for doing it. He is so "chicken" we were surprised he did it at all!
It was a great night and we were so happy to be able to spend the evening with friends!
June 12th we had church and then we had our monthly gathering for dinner with the Gonyo, Klingbile, and Steuerwald families. It was a good day as far as weather and it was nice to gather as friends. We started this a few months ago and it is a nice, simple reason to get together as our lives are all crazy and we need to take time to connect as friends.
