Hello all! I have some serious catching up to do in this blog! I will do my best the next few days to get up to date.
July 4th was a wonderful day for us. We spent the entire day as a family with our friends. The weather was beautiful and it was nice to chill out for a day! We actually started celebrating the night before with some fireworks of our own. We always get a few to set off. I remember every 4th of July shooting off fireworks as a kid so I love that Micah enjoys this. He actually set off a few by himself this year. It was hilarious to watch, he would light it and run about a 1/2 mile away because I had told him #1 thing is to be safe!

His favorite thing to do was have snap throwing wars. Thank you Lexy! We had a lot of fun doing this with both mom and dad! 
Then it was sparkler time! 
We also set off a few fountains which we found out the next night brought a member of Madison's finest by our house. :-) We were unaware but I guess all fireworks are illegal to shoot off in Madison. He was very nice about it and let us off with a warning and took the time to answer 100 questions from my lovely son! Thank you officer for your patience!
On the 4th of July we took our annual trip to the Ramona parade with the Gonyo's. We started off by eating whoppers and then we took our spots for the parade. The kids always have a good time hanging out and collecting tons of candy!

After the parade we ran home for a nap and to cool off for a few hours. We then headed over to Dana and Gary's for supper. The kids had fun on the slip and slide while we sat around and visited. Micah of course was scared to do it so Briana tried to help him out once!
Micah spent the rest of his time on the swing while everyone the others played on the slip and slide. Here is Briana giving it a whirl!

After supper we headed home and waited for dusk so we could go watch fireworks. We ended up meeting up with the Steuerwald's on the road and sat together watching them. That made Micah's night as some days he would much rather be a part of their family! :-)
