Day 1 - Thankful for the Lord Jesus Christ

I am going to try and blog about my "I'm thankful for" leading up to Thanksgiving.  I will try to do it everyday of the month of November.  I saw others doing this on Facebook and I thought - I need to do that!  I get so caught up in the hustle and bustle of life and I need this task of giving thanks just to get me grounded.  I also feel like my lack of blogging has been a disservice to myself and I need to get back at it.  So, here it goes!

Day 1:
I am thankful for having the Lord Jesus Christ in my life.  
What a true blessing in my life.

I have always believed in Jesus Christ but I was lacking a relationship with him.  I have in the past blamed that on a variety of things, but today I sit here and say it was my own doing because I didn't seek him. He has always been faithful even when I didn't extend my heart to him.  I have had faith in him my entire life, I simply didn't have faith with him.  I am proud to say that is no longer the case.  As I continue my faith journey my relationship with him can only grow stronger and I am thankful for that! It is my honor to serve him as a await to hear the words "'Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master's happiness!"
I, as most have been lost but now I am found.  What an awesome feeling!
