This Week...........

I am sorry for the lack of interesting posts here lately. We really haven't been doing anything fantastic! It has been pretty quiet and routine around here. I guess that is a good thing.

Last weekend we took our family pictures. They went well, I think! We will see when we get them back. You never know until you see them. Micah cooperated really well so that is always a good thing. Saturday night we went to Bill, Monica and Lizzie's for pizza and pool! It was a nice chance to visit and let the kids play. They love to play together and they play so well together! It always makes it nice when they will sit and do their own thing so you can actually visit!
Sunday I was off to SF for groceries. Other than that, we really didn't do anything exciting. Just the normal household stuff etc.

Monday night, Craig had pool league so Micah and I had an evening to ourselves. We always enjoy having some time just for us. It has become our "babies" and popcorn night. Babies as Micah refers to them is actually Jon & Kate plus 8 on TLC. The "babies" are actually 2 years older than Micah so it cracks me up that he refers to them as babies. Craig had a good night shooting pool. He managed to get a perfect 30 out of 30! Way to go dear!!

Tuesday night we had to have the repair man come and look at our auxiliary heat source. It seemed that it wasn't warming at all! That morning we woke up and it was 66 degrees in the house. My first thought was, "Could it be the furnace filter?" See Craig has been making lots of sheetrock dust in the basement so I wondered.. Hummmm.. Well, right away that morning Craig changed the filter and Oh boy! did it need it.. But at the time it didn't seem to help. Well, after actually getting a chance to cool down (it ran constantly until that point!) OOP!! - anyway, lucky for us and our pocketbook, that is all it was! WHEW!!!

Thursday night I had my last night of mixed league volleyball. We managed to survive the first night last week but we did have one loss. So, we played at 7 on Thursday. We started playing and it was pretty close, but we weren't doing great. We lost our first match. At the start of the 2nd match, disaster struck for my friend, Marsha.. She collided with another player (Not naming names here) - her foot stuck but her knee went. Mind you, she has had reconstruction on both knees already. Well, it went and it went good. She was done.. Needless to say, we lost that game too and our season was over. I just feel so bad for her. She went in today and the did xrays and did an MRI. She will know next week the verdict. She also had blood drained off her knee, which she said helped with the pain. YUCK! Hopefully everything will be ok. I am sure she will require surgery again, but with good friends and family, she will be well taken care of! :)

This weekend we have quite a bit planned. Tonight we have Craig's Xmas party. I am looking forward to this. I hope it is a good time. Tomorrow I think Micah and I will head up to the Bethel Craft Show. Not sure what we are after if anything, but I figure it will be something to do. Sunday is Craig's birthday. He mentioned going to a pancake feed at the Catholic Church. We will see if that is what he wants to do when it comes time. Their is also the Harvest Meal on Sunday night. Ohh the choices!! We will see what happens. It is his day so whatever he decides to do we will try to make it happen..
