December 24th & December 25th, 2008
Craig, Micah and I were blessed with having both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day to ourselves. To some this might not sound great, but we truely enjoyed the down time and the chance to spend time together. On eve we drove around and looked at Christmas Lights as this has become somewhat of a tradition. Micah is always a joy to watch as he gets so excited about his "Favorite" as he calls some of the wonderful displays. Christmas day we just enjoyed every minute. I believe it took us 3+ hours to open all the presents Santa brought! I think Santa felt the need to wrap every single gift individually! I think he was aware that Micah was all about the presents this year and he didn't necessarily care what was inside, just that he had PRESENTS! We had cinnamon rolls and just enjoyed the laughter and joy of little Micah.
For dinner we had ribs, red potatoes baked in the oven with a ranch seasoning and other yummy food! Craig was in heaven since these some of his favorites! The rest of the day was spent playing Wii, taking naps and and watching the parade on TV. It was a joyous holiday and we are very thankful to be blessed with love, health and joy.
Micah thought he had to have a candy cane for breakfast on Christmas. I thought, what the heck, why not! It was Christmas after all!! :)
Baxter playing with his toy mice from Santa! Sylvester trying to get her toy out of her stocking!
Micah trying out his new TENT! OH fun!
Micah playing with his new remote control "Motorcycle" as he likes to call it!
On this day we traveled to Alcester for my side's Christmas. I believe we ended up with 29 or so people there and what a hoot we had! My sister has a Wii and we also brought ours so we could hook up both tv's! My nephew brought his Guitar Hero and we played that as well. That of which is NOT as easy as it looks!! I would need some hours to practice to get any good at that! However, I believe everyone had a good day and it was again great to see everyone. Here are a few pictures of the hoodlums of my family!!

Looks like you had a wonderful Christmas holiday!! Thanks for sharing all the pictures...
Micah sure is a CUTIE!!
I loved seeing all the pictures.
You did have a fun time with your family playing WII and etc.
We have never been at home for Christmas Eve nor Christmas Day...but I bet it is wonderful to just have time together as a family.
We were gone for a couple days and then home the entire rest of Christmas break. Boy did we ever love that. It was wonderful...we played lots of board games, cards, playstation,DS, watched movies, slept in...etc.
it's good to see your family pictures. sounds like you all had a good time too.
I love all the family pictures, how great!! I think that's nice that you got that time to spend with just your family. We did that this year too. Although we had some extended family members who got a little upset and thought we should be around more. We really enjoyed our time alone with our kids. I love the picture of Micah pushing the stroller...very manly!! I love the picture of him with the "motorcycle" too. It looks like he is really concentrating!!
