Today we began with some exercise! We had a scheduled date with the local Bounce U in Henderson from 10:10 to 11:25. It was a time they schedule for preschool age kids. What a wonderful place!! I had researched this prior to coming to Vegas thanks to the Jon and Kate + 8 show. One of their episodes, they took one of their children to one. I thought it would be a great place for Micah to go and blow of some built up energy! It did not disappoint!! I wish we had one of these around our area in the winter, I think it would be a great place to go! Maybe we will have to look into opening a franchise! :)
Here are a few pictures of that activity!
The family getting aquainted with the bouncing! Micah wasn't so sure of this, he was ALOT on the cautious side. We had to hold hands and if we bounced to much he would get mad and say sternly, "DON'T BOUNCE MOM!"
Us doing a little bouncing on our butt! He thought that was funny!
And the highlight of his day! A BIG SLIDE!! This is daddy and him going down together!
All smiles at the bottom!

If you ever have the chance to go to a facility like this, do it!! It was fairly inexpensive at about $7.00 per child and adults were free! Micah had a ball and was beat after all that climbing and sliding!
After the "bouncy house" as Micah refered to it, we made a quick stop at the Ethel M chocolate factory and cactus gardens. We did sample a few things at the factory! YUM YUM!! We were a bit disappointed as the production seemed to be shut down for the most part but it was still great to see it. Micah being the anti chocolate kid wouldn't eat a piece until we tricked him into eating a White chocolate! He thought that was pretty yummy!! I swear he isn't my kid, who doesn't like CHOCOLATE? I will have to work on that one!

We then decided to grab some lunch and headed back to the house so we could eat with Grandpa Mike! Micah is in love with Grandpa Mike and every day he has to go to work he is very concerned where Grandpa Mike is! It is great to see the bonding process with Micah and Grandma and Grandpa.
After some food was in our bellies, it was off to our next adventure!
After the secret gardens, we drove over to the Venetian Hotel and Casino. What a sight!! Beatiful doesn't say enough about it. It is stunning and words cannot describe it! I have pictures of course, but it doesn't do it justice. You have to see it for yourself!
The ceiling/hallway of the entrance
The statue in the entrance. Notice the floor. It is a marble that looks 3D. It was amazing!! The squares look like they are inset, but it was all smooth!
Closer picture of the statue
Ceiling
The floor in the hallway. Isn't it cool! Again, it isn't really steps it just appears that way!
More ceiling
Ceiling again!
Tonight we are going to do some little things like wash our rental car and get that ready to take back in the morning. Tomorrow will be a very busy day. We are going to go to the Shelby Museum out by the Nascar speedway, grab lunch at the cafe out there and we are going to do a track tour at the track. Tomorrow night Craig and I are having a night out by ourselves. We are planning on going to the Stratosphere and then it is off to the Bellagio, Cirque du Soleil "O" show. It is supposed to be a great show so watch for the updates!
Our trip is starting to come to an end. We will be sad to return home after having such a wonderful time. All things must come to an end I suppose.

We had a place called Bounce in Colorado. It was awesome!! The kids loved it and it was cheap like you said. That would be great here in SD in the winter!! It is sad when a vacation ends. It looks like you guys had an amazing time though. Enjoy the last couple days :)
They have places like that in Arizona too. They utilize them more in the summer because it's always too hot for kids to play outside. Looks like you had a great time!!!!
