NOTE: BEWARE PICTURE OVERLOAD!!
This was to what I call a MICAH day! We were doing things just for him and only him. After lunch, we were off to the Lied Children's museum with unknown expectations. I had found this museum on the internet before arriving and thought we would give it a try. It was simply WONDERFUL! Micah had a blast it was a two level museum full of hands on things to do for kids of all ages! He went grocery shopping, cooked us a meal, drove and airplane, played with bubbles, dressed up as spiderman and put on a little show for us on stage, he dressed up as a fireman, painted a picture of Clifford the big red dog (He was the featured exhibit) and best of all, Micah got to SEE CLIFFORD the big red dog!! He was soooo excited to see him, hug him and sit with him! He even decided that he needed to give Clifford his painting as a gift!! He was so excited and it was wonderful to see. There is nothing like the innocence of a child and their excitement over what we might call a simple character. It was priceless to witness. Here are more pictures!
Spiderman (aka Micah) performing a little dance for us!
Fireman Micah to the rescue! (Uncle John - how do I look?)
I think the clerk was trying to rip of the customer! WINK WINK
Micah cooking us supper. yum yum! It was tasty!
After the museum, we decided to eat at "In and Out Burger". They had wonderful burgers!! I am pretty sure we don't have any of those around our area, but wowzers, they were good!!
After supper it was off to Walmart (where our credit card didn't work!) Goodie Goodie! Found out it was due to a system upgrade on our providers part! Whew!! Then we were off to the PARK!
We stayed there for 1 1/2 hrs or so. This was a much needed break for a little boy. He loves the park!! He is becoming quite the little flirt too! He ended up making friends with 2 little pre-teen girls who just ohh'ed and ahhh'ed over him. I tell you what, we might have our handsful with this little charmer as he gets older! ha..
He enjoyed the park and really needed the release of energy!
Ahhhhhhh, not sure if I can reach it dad!
I DID IT!
After the park, it was back to grandma's for ice cream!! YUMMY!! All in all it was a wonderful, relaxing day!! Fun was had by all!!
