Viva Las Vegas Day 4!

I forgot!! Craig found his Animals!! While we were driving on the Desert View road at the canyon, these elk were standing alongside the road.
It was unanimous on Saturday morning, we were heading back to Las Vegas! We woke up to rain and cool weather and decided, ENOUGH with wasting our time in such dreary weather, it was time to get back to the sunshine and heat! We decided to take part of Old Route 66! It was very cool in the beginning with the little towns and atmosphere was neat, but it quickly turned into reservation! Let me tell you, it was typical reservation! Wowzers, one forgets how fortunate we are! We arrived in Boulder City, NV around 12:45 PM. At 1:00 they had a train ride so we decided to catch that for our little man's pleasure! Micah loves trains and he really really enjoyed himself. The ride was about 45 minutes long which was about perfect. Here are a few pictures of course!

On our way to ride the train!!

Family photo with the conductor!Micah and I on the train
Micah with the car attendant's hat!! He walked up to him and asked if he could wear it!! Yup, he isn't shy!
Micah made a friend on the train, his name was Garrett and they had a ball!
After the train ride we ate and drove back to Grandma and Grandpa's house. Later that night we went to a local planetarium. The show we saw was called "Bad Astronomy" and it was debunking the myths of astronomy that movies and other things portray. It was pretty good, the 2nd part was about constalations and that got a bit boring but for the most part it was worth it. We were supposed to go look out a telescope afterwards and view Saturn, but of course the clouds were in the way!! Craig and I were both shocked when Micah started talking about a telescope! He knew what it was and that it looked into "outer space" as he called it. Where he learned that we have no idea!! Somethings are just a mystery I suppose.
It was then back to the house and to bed. It had been along day!!
