Adam and Kelsey's Wedding June 5, 2010

On Thursday June 3rd we took off for Grandma and Grandpa Nelson's for the night! We stayed with them until Friday about noon and then we drove on to Kansas for Adam (My cousin) and Kelsey's wedding. Micah had the honor of being their ring bearer! We checked in at the hotel and then we headed over to pick up his tux. It turned out it wasn't there yet as she was still waiting on UPS! She called the driver and learned he was on main street somewhere but after waiting a few minutes she went and tracked him down in order to get it. Luckily, the tux fit perfectly so no alterations were needed! WHEW!! We then headed over to rehearsal, which we were late for! Sorry guys! After the rehearsal we all headed over to the local Valentinos for supper. It was nice to get a chance to visit with everyone and have some fun!! Adam had brough with him a few mustaches and thought he should have pictures with everyone!! The kids took some convincing but got into it after getting used to the idea!

Adam and Cameryn sporting the stash!Adam and Baby Jaxon! ha.. Cool dudes Adam and Micah also sporting the stash! We all went back to the hotel after supper. We didn't really do much other than hang out and try to get to bed early!

Jaxon, Izzac, Cameryn and Micah chillin like villians!Saturday morning was wedding day! Micah actually slept in until 9:15 or so! We got ready for his big day and headed for the church at 11:00 for pictures.

Maddie and Micah before the wedding.. I love that they are holding hands!
They had so much fun playing together!!
As you can see he didn't do to much without his sunglasses on! I think they were his safety blanket! Kind of like super invisable glasses! With the glasses on, nobody can see me! haa We managed to get him down the aisle without them, but he had to wear them on the way out! I guess we won 1/2 the battle!

This picture was taken by Micah! He took my camera during the ceremony and decided to snap a picture of them while they were singing a song! He might just become a photographer when he grows up!

The wedding went off without a hitch and Micah did a wonderful job! He walked down the aisle like a pro and stood there for a little while. He then came and sat with us until it was time to walk out. Then he went and walked down with all the big people! He was so proud of his tux and looking so sharp! We were proud parents that is for sure. He did have cute comment during the wedding. He turned around after they said their vows and said, "Mom, Kelsey and I are married!" I am not sure if anyone heard that! He loves his Kelsey! I am afraid Adam will always have to contend with Mr. Micah for Kelseys attention! LOL
After the wedding we headed over to the reception. Again we had a great time visiting with everyone and we had some fun with the photo booth! I have never been to a reception that had a photo booth. What a wonderful way to have some fun and create a scrap book of memories for the bride and groom!! After all the fun was over, we packed up and headed back to Grandma Sandy and Grandpa Harlan's! We had a big day and we couldn't be happier for Adam and Kelsey. We wish them many many years of happiness and joy.
