Howdy! It has been a while since my last update, I apologize for that.
Craig has been staying busy with a variety of things. He is working in Brookings, SD at SDSU on a remodel project up there. It has been trying at times, but he says he can see the light at the end of the tunnel. Work as a whole has been good for him, busy which he is thankful for. He is a little worried about winter and work load. Thankfully with every nice day we have that means one less day of bad! That helps the cause for sure! He is still shooting pool on Monday nights. Last week was a good one for hm. He scored a 30 out of 30, perfect evening! On Tuesday nights he has been working at the church helping with the remodel project. He enjoys helping but he has recently stepped back from some of the responsibilities there. He wants to be able to concentrate on our house and just get back to "normal" as we like to call it.
Micah has been continuing to show us just how wonderful he is. It never fails, he always has the capability to make us laugh and appreciate life just a little bit more. He has finished up this session of storytime at the library. He really enjoys going to the library, picking out books and his newest thing is computer games. He does quite well considering he is fairly new at using a computer. He is still playing soccer on Wednesday nights. He has been enjoying it this year as there are alot more kids in it this year. He still tends to get frustrated with new drills he doesn't know how to do, but he is working on his attitude. He is still attending Sunday school and loving every minute of it. He wakes up on Sunday mornings so excited to go be with his friends and teachers. We have noticed lately his imagination is running wild. He is always coming up with something and the following picture shows you just what we have to deal with on a regular basis! He was dressed up as a super hero, Super Mario that is, cape and all! Man, I couldn't stop laughing as he looked so dang cute!
I have been busy with a multitude of things. I had my A division coed volleyball season come to an end last week. We had a rough year with many ups and downs. We started the tournament on Thursday the 4th. To our surprise, we won both of our games so we moved on to the following Thursday undefeated! We managed to win our first game on the 11th and moved on to the championship. Unbelievably, WE WON! It was pretty exciting for all of us. There were 7 teams in our division so to move through undefeated and become the champs was fun. I have also been working out at the community center still. I was working out once a week during volleyball season, but I am hoping now I will be able to go back to 2 times a week. The get active program is alot of fun and it is keeping my interest so that is good.
On to our doctoring for our infertility. I have been making many, many, many trips to Sioux Falls to the doctor as of late. We are officially in the last stage of our medication process, meaning we are doing the shot process. Craig and I both have mixed feelings on this but are working towards the peace we need to accept what God hands us. The financial side of this is a real challenge for us as some of you know, this process is quite expensive. We are trying not to worry about it "to much" but it does weigh heavily on our minds. As far as results from the meds, we can say it is "working" by making me have mature follicle's but we are not seeing the result of a pregnancy. It is difficult at times but for the most part we are "ok" with everything. The doctor told me we could attempt this shot process 5-6 times, but honestly that is not financially possible for us. We have tried it once and are seriously discussing if we will try it again. My mind says we are done, but my heart isn't so sure. We just can not put ourselves in a financial situation where we are buried with medical bills, that just isn't healthy for our family. It makes it extra difficult to make the correct decision when you have a little boy in the back seat of your car praying to God to give him a sister and TWINS! Yes, that is really his prayer and yes, he came up with that all on his own. He has no idea what we have been going through, so through his little heart he knows. If you would please keep us in your thoughts and prayers during this ongoing journey, we would appreciate it.
Ok, enough of that..
Last Thursday, I had the day off of work. Micah had preschool and I thought it would be neat if I could pick him up, but he wasn't having it. He wanted to ride the bus! He loves riding the bus and feeling like a big boy! He was supposed to arrive at home about 11:25 or so, but at 5 after 11 I heard the bus pull up in front of our house. I went out and the driver was waiting to pick up Micah! :) I said, no... You are supposed to drop him off from preschool. He said, OH Crap and drove off! Right on schedule he pulled up and a little boy with a huge smile came running off the bus, yelling MOM!! It was awesome and I am so thankful for a great bus drive who gives Micah suckers and makes him feel special. After he got home, we sat and watched the Viborg-Hurley Cougars play at the dome. Erik, my nephew/bro, is an assistant coach for them and it was Erik's Birthday! 11/11 @ 11:00 - if that wasn't a sign! Unfortunately they were not able to pull off a win, but they played a great game. It was fun to watch and the best part for Micah was he got to see Grandma Michelle, Aunt Sophia, Cousin Cam, Aunt Tonia, Uncle John and Grandpa Kurt on TV! He thought that was the best thing ever!! He was a bit confused as to why Erik wasn't in a football uniform when they showed him coaching, but after I explained that he wasn't playing, he was their coach he seemed to understand a little bit better.
Here is Micah and the TV with John (Red and white hat on left), Tonia next to John, Sophia (Looks like she is on the phone w/ long black hair) and Michelle is the last one on the bottom of the picture to the right. :-)

That is about all I know for this post. I hope you all have a great week!! Ta Ta for now..
